About me

Grahm Technology AB provides technical expertise in mobile communications development with experience from everything from basic ASIC development, embedded systems as well as network standards and operators solutions and cloud.

I offer technical project management, product management, technical sales support, business concept development or can take part in startup management teams both as short time focused effort or full-time longterm engagement.

My vision is to secure that good startup ideas reach the global market.

I who run this company do have a Master of Science in Engineering Physics and 35 years of experience in high tech mobile and Defense business. I want to share my broad experience into companies and teams that can benefit from it and we all get some fun work done.

    Senior Development Manager

    Sony Network Communications AB

    I was part of a small team that took a technology concept from idea into commercially available global product including both cellular IoT connectivity as well as built in sensors and interface for creating B2B business within mobile health and safety segment. My focus in the project was the communication technologies and technical support dialogue with the potential customers. A small team with lot of technology and a variety of potential customer use cases and customer profiles provided an excellent opportunity for a lot of learning.

    Sony Mobile Communications AB

    Developed technology concepts within the framework of Sony Seed Acceleration Program where startup methodology was used to assess both the commercial and development related challenges in an efficient way for various concept ideas.

    Program Manager, Core Platform /Core Customer Team

    Sony Mobile Communications AB

    In the first phase integrate sourced mobile platforms with hardware/software into mobile phone products developed in Lund, Kista, Raleigh (USA), Beijing and Tokyo. This meant a lot of communication and problem solving internally and externally in all phases from first prototype builds to fully verified industrialised mobile phones. In the 2nd phase I managed projects together with the major global mobile operators as part of Sony´s globala cross functional Core Customer Teams.  One major such project as the deployment of IMS VoLTE architecture in close collaboration with Sony´s Radio Access Team.

  • 2001 – 2004

    Director Business Line Baseband

    Ericsson Technology Licensing AB

    Developed a licensable package of HDL code and Firmware for Bluetooth implementation to major semiconductor companies so more Bluetooth with Ericsson technology could be developed to genera royalty revenues. This period meant a lot of external technical sales presentations in different global forums.

    Product Management role setting requirements towards R&D development team as well as providing technical sales support for the baseband licensing business. This gave a perfect view into the complexity and challenges of closing deals for a comerical, technical and legal negotiation and also customers expectations and requirements put on a support and maintenance organisation.

  • 1995 – 2001

    Development Manager/Technical Project Lead

    Ericsson Mobile Communications AB

    Project lead for GSM and data com ASIC:s which meant driving development from design to implementation via AsIC Fabs to test and verification into a complete system with hardware/firmware/software in mobile phone projects. This was done with a design team from Ericsson and from the involved semiconductor companies.

    Responsible for the Bluetooth Chipset roadmap and Department manager for the team of about 30 engineers the was built up to Implement the roadmap in Lund, Kista and Swindon (UK) that eventually was becoming part of Ericsson Technology Licensing AB.

  • Sept 1989 – April 1995

    Systems Engineer

    Kockums Submarine Systems AB

    Worked with requirements, specifications, procurement process, integration and testing of sonar systems for submarines for Sweden and Australia. It meant close contacts with the Navy staff, authorities, subcontractors, design departments and production staff.

    The software development followed requirements and development according to MIL-STD 2167A intended to secure high quality products. The sonarsystem incude a number of different technology components that gave a good understanding for hydroacoustics, signal processing, user interface and software development.
